Nearly 30 veterans are learning how to start and run businesses, thanks to classes at Syracuse University.

It's part of the University's annual Entrepreneurship Boot camp.

Army veteran Matthew Putt started the company Boss Security and Automation about three-years-ago. He says it's great to learn from others at the conference.

"You'll be able to take that information and give it to your brothers and sisters that you served with so hopefully they can take advantage of it as well," said Putt.

The program is offered at no cost to the veterans.
