An online business is building its new headquarters in Syracuse and adding more than 160 jobs.

TCGPlayer is renovating their space in the galleries downtown. The 44,000 square-foot office will feature interactive designs, pop culture theme work spaces, and collective memorabilia.

Company officials estimate 162 jobs will be created through the expansion during the next five years. CEO and founder Chedy Hampson is from the area and says he's glad to be back.

"We decided to launch a market place and that's when things began to take off and i began hiring more people in Syracuse and it just naturally flowed and the city has embraced us I can’t imagine being in another city this is where we want to be," Hampson.

Hampson hopes the new headquarters will be finished by the end of the year.
