Syracuse Police have made an arrest in a stabbing that critically injured one person.

33-year-old Liam Ealahan is facing charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest.

Police were called to the 200 block of West Fayette Street around 2:45 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived they found a man in his 30s suffering from a stab wound to his stomach.

He was taken to the hospital where he remains in critical condition.
