The man accused of killing three young people in a drunk driving crash appeared briefly in court.

Anthony Saccone mostly waited Friday morning as his attorney met with the Onondaga County District Attorney and the judge behind closed doors.

Saccone is charged with three counts of murder and aggravated vehicular homicide.

Prosecutors say he was speeding when he ran a red light back in February, killing 18-year-old Michael Walker, 19-year-old Baylie Rose and 20-year-old Samra Osmanovic.

Family members of the victims are regularly in court for Saccone's appearances. They say while it's difficult emotionally, they want to make sure justice is served.

"It's because of someone's bad choices that this happened,” said Emily Worley, Michael Walker's Aunt. “It really hurts. But on the flipside, to feel like there's no remorse and he's being protected by his choices, and that's really unfair.

The judge scheduled another court appearance for next Wednesday, to give Saccone time to talk with his attorney.
