The right suit can make a big difference in a job interview, but not everyone has access to professional attire.

That's why, for the tenth year, the center for community alternatives joined the Men's Warehouse Suit Drive.

The goal is to help unemployed people transition back into the workforce.

CCA Representatives say the benefits of the drive go beyond employment.

Syracuse Mayor Ben Walsh hopes the suit he donated will help its new owner the same way it helped him.

"I donated one of my own suits here which helped me get to the current job that I hold," Walsh said. "I'm hopeful that it'll help somebody else get their own new job"

"Many of these folks not only took advantage of the mens warehouse suit drive and were able to find a nice suit to help them with their interviews," Said Marvin Ramos, Program Rectruitment Coordinator at CCA. "But they also became role models in the community."

Last year CCA Collected nearly 750 suits.

This year they hope to collect a thousand suits before August.
