SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The second phase of a $48 million renovation project at Crouse Hospital is complete.

The hospital has a new entrance-way which includes a new lobby, valet service area and cafe.

The lobby includes more space and seating along with a bakery and reception area.

Valet service is also expected to be made easier with more space for vehicles.

The new additions should make arriving and waiting at the hospital much easier.

"Its been a little challenging to get the community people in and out of the hospital, so we have been closed for just over three months and with the opening and ribbon cutting, we're very excited for that," said Crouse Hospital Vice President of Facilities Management Jeff Tetrault.

This is part of a three phase Pomeroy Emergency Services Project which included a new emergency room that opened last year.

The hospital will also move its Prompt Care Services near the new Emergency Department by October.
