SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One of the largest car shows in the country is rolling into the state fairgrounds later this week. But about 100 to 200 campers are already on the grounds for this weekend's Syracuse Nationals.

Many car enthusiasts bring their rides from across the country and typically spend the week in the area.

As for those classic and custom cars -- they will be allowed on the grounds this Friday morning when the show opens.

Overall, about 100,000 visitors will make their way to the show this weekend.

"I don't know of a show that's bigger than this. We will bring into the local economy this weekend, almost $15 million and we will probably donate to charities, as a result of the show, about $75,000," said Kenn Peters, a Syracuse Nationals representative.

The show gets underway this Friday, July 20 at 8 a.m. There will once again be seminars, shows, and auctions held each day. Tickets are $20 for adults, but you can find advanced sale tickets in many locations.  For more on the show, visit SyracuseNationals.com.
