The man charged with a double homicide in Waterloo pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
Emerson Tohafjian appeared in Waterloo Town Court Friday afternoon.
He pleaded not guilty to two counts of second degree murder.
State police say Tohafjian shot and killed 53-year-old Lori McConnell on Tuesday.
He's also accused of killing another man, who police have not yet identified.
Another woman was shot in the incident, Karen Zdunko, has since been treated and released.
Tohafjian is due back in court for a preliminary hearing on July 19 at 1 p.m.
