Syracuse police are investigating two shootings in the city, with one seriously injured a man.

Officers were called to the 2600 block of East Fayette Street around 3:00 a.m. Saturday.

They found a 40-year-old man who was shot. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he is currently listed in serious condition.

Hours earlier, police were called to West Onondaga Street.

A 17-year-old man was shot in the leg and arm.The victim refused any medical attention but did tell the officers there were three men that ran away after firing the shots.

At this time, police do not believe the incidents are related. Anyone with any information on either shooting is asked to call the Syracuse Police Department.
