The Chenango County man who admitted to raping and killing 11-year-old Jacelyn O'Conner will spend 20 years to life behind bars.

Tobias Rundstrom-Wooding pleaded guilty to first-degree rape and second-degree murder Friday morning. He was originally charged with first-degree murder.

Back in July of 2017, police responded to a call on County Route 22 where they found O'Conner dead.

Rundstrom-Wooding, along with his co-defendant, James Brower, was arrested.

The district attorney says the men were involved in a relationship and committed the rape and murder together.

O'Conner was the half-sister of Brower's sons.

Rundstrom-Wooding is set to be sentenced on August 13. Brower's case is still expected to go to trial.
