Some had the chance to discover the sights and tastes of downtown Syracuse.
About 10 people participated in Saturday's 'Sampling Syracuse Food Tour.'
With the help of a guide, they stopped at six award winning restaurants like Cafe Kubal and Kitty Hoynes, and also learned about the area's history.
The tours allow locals and out-of-towners to learn something new.
"It's so easy for me to just walk around and show it off to people and we have so many great restaurants and great people here in Syracuse who just want Syracuse to succeed so I just love showing people that," said Syracuse Sampling Food Tours Owner Kate Gillen.
The 'Sampling Syracuse Food Tours' began in 2012.
