Pride Month celebrations continue in Central New York.

Hundreds packed the streets of Syracuse for the annual Pride Parade and Festival.

This year's theme was "Love is..."

And those in attendance celebrated the diversity of love and its importance.

Some say the festival has grown over the years and they are proud to see so many people come out in support.

"It feels awesome, it's wonderful to see so many young people and so many people - friends and families support us," said Paula Mallard, celebrating Pride Festival.

"Pride is always a wonderful time. It is the time when we can again truly express ourselves. It is the time for pageantry. It is the time to be as out as you possibly can and to have some serious unapologetic joy," said Lori Kim Alexander, BlackCuse Pride Co-Director.

CNY Pride events continue throughout the month.

On June 27th, they will host Pride Night at the Syracuse Chiefs game.
