Deputies say the discovery of a woman's body near the shore of Jamesville Beach Park is likely due to an accidental drowning.

Employees noticed the body around 1:00 Thursday afternoon.

Deputies say the woman appeared to be in her 60's.

They believe she was kayaking and was not wearing a life jacket.

Her name won't be released until family is notified. An autopsy will determine the official cause of death.
