CLINTON, N.Y. -- A woman is ticketed following a Tuesday morning crash with a tractor trailer carrying gravel.

The crash happened around 8:00 a.m. on State Route 233 in the Town of Kirkland.

Police said 36-year-old Janelle Perry was pulling out of a driveway when she failed to yield right-of-way to the tractor trailer. The tractor trailer was operated by 55-year-old Timothy Hutchings.

The truck hit Perry's vehicle and caused extensive damage. It then went off the roadway and struck a guardrail and utility pole.

Perry was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and has been issued a traffic ticket for failing to yield the right-of-way.
