SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A new business is blooming in downtown Syracuse.

Wildflowers Armory is a one of a kind pop-up shop, because it calls itself a permanent pop-up shop.

The store will have a permanent place in Armory Square but will "pop up" and change into a complete different store every few months with new items.

It's filled with work from local artists, including everything from paintings and clothing to jewelry. The owner says the space is a place for Central New York artists to create and share.

"We just want to keep on offering, showcasing the creative talent that is around here. There's no better way to put all the minds together and have ourselves kind of like a really fun test tube for cool ideas,” said Michael John Heagarty, owner.

Wildflowers currently has 32 local vendors. Artists wishing to be featured in the shop can apply online here.
