ITHACA, N.Y. — Thousands can now call themselves Cornell University graduates.

The college held its rainy commencement ceremony on Sunday at the school's football field. Even though the weather wasn't the best, many still came out to watch their loved ones walk the stage.

Among the graduates was a very special duo: Kiley McPeek graduated with her grandfather, Herb Doig. Kiley got her undergrad in applied economics while Herb received his master’s in professional studies.

“It's really weird because I felt like this day wouldn't come because you're so caught up in going to school and playing volleyball and everything and so it's like weird to have it all be done but I'm excited too for what lies ahead," said McPeek.

Along with her grandfather, both of Kiley's parents and one of her sisters went to Cornell.
