A Utica man is behind bars after being accused of killing a woman last week.
33-year-old Brian Brewczynski was arraigned in city court Friday morning.
He's accused of killing 49-year-old Cheri Saupp on the 600-block of William Street last week.
The call originally came in as a medical call. When police arrived, Saupp was found unconscious. She was pronounced dead at the hospital, from injuries to her head.
Brewczynski is charged with first-degree manslaughter.
