The Manlius Fire Department is using the latest in technology to help fight fires.

They used their new drone during a weekend barn fire. It lets them get a look at places they normally can't see.

It gives them a look at hot spots and potential structural issues that might be their firefighters in harm's way.

Since the barn fire, the drone has been successfuly used to help fight house fires as well as find missing pets.
