The man accused of killing three people in a drunk-driving crash successfully asked to have his bail amount reduced, further angering the families of those who died.

Anthony Saccone is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit when he ran a red light at Onondaga Boulevard and Fay Road in February. Police say he also had cocaine in his system at the time.

He hit another car, killing 18-year-old Michael Walker, 19-year-old Baylee Rose and 20-year-old Samra Osmanovic.

Bail was originally set at $1 million cash or $2 million bond.

But the state appellate court ruled that amount was excessive.

On Friday, a judge in Onondaga County Court reduced it to $250,000 cash or $500,000 bond.

"This does not feel good to me,” said Sonya Worley, Michael Walker’s aunt. “This does not feel good looking at my sister, looking at Baylie Rose's mom, thinking about Samara's family. This is not right. There's no way this is right."

It's was not immediately clear if Saccone will be able to post bail.

He's due back in court on May 29th.
