The new Chick-Fil-A has been such a success that the town of Cicero is welcoming another national chain to the area.
A Starbucks will be built next to Chick-Fil-A on Brewerton road in Cicero.
The new addition will no doubt add the recent influx of traffic surrounding the area. But the town supervisor says they're already working to fix the issue.
A study is being done in conjunction with the DOT to evaluate the traffic flow in Cicero. The study is meant to help plan the most efficient routes to prevent backups.
In the meantime officials ask residents to remains patient.
"Understand that to make improvements sometimes there's a little discomfort, right?” said Cicero Town Supervisor Mark Venesky. “But the ultimate end is that we'll have better traffic flow, better traffic, and pedestrian safety."
Construction is set to begin this June to improve sidewalks in the area.
