Soldiers from Fort Drum have completed operation Falcon's Peak, a week long aviation training program.

One tactical flight operation that was used is called " Nap of the Earth" Flying.

This is a method used to evade radar detection and air defense threats by flying low to the ground and at a slower pace.

Officials said the training was a success but their were some challenges along the way.

Last week's wind and ice storms caused issues for some soldiers, but the team was prepared.
