BRIDGEPORT, N.Y. — While other parts of the state seemed to be more impacted by the ice storm, it did leave some damage behind in Central New York.

A Bridgeport home may have gotten the worst of it Sunday morning, after a tree fell on its garage. No one was hurt and the home itself didn't suffer any damage. Wires were down, however.

"All of a sudden I heard thunder. I knew there was going to be an ice storm so I just figured it was just thunder and so I got up and looked out my window and there it was, right on our roof," said homeowner Janice Debartolo.

National Grid turned off power to Debartolo's and her neighbor's homes as crews made repairs.
