The dirt is down, and the Carrier Dome is looking ready for Monster Jam tonight.

14 trucks will hit the track to compete in different competitions pulling off death-defying stunts in the meantime.

This is the eighth year the event has come to Syracuse, and crowd favorites like Grave Digger will be on hand. But behind the wheel of one of these trucks will also be a woman.

Brianna Mahon is one of several female drivers on the tour, competing with the boys.

"I love it, you know I've always been out there pushing for women to be out there and be in motorsports and be involved,” said Mahon. “We can do anything that you put your heart to.  Back home I own a hair salon and I do hair, and on the weekends, I get to come drive this 12,000 pound truck.  So it's pretty cool to have the best of both worlds and to be out there and be a role model for girls all over the world."

If you're going to Monster Jam and want to look for her, Brianna drives the "Whiplash" truck.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the trucks roll out at 7:00 p.m.
