Some fun faces greeted customers at the Dunkin Donuts drive thru in Liverpool.

A couple of Syracuse Chiefs made a surprise visit Wednesday morning, filling up orders to kick start the day.

Pitcher Jaron Long and Catcher Spencer Keiboom had some fun with customers, even handing out some free items.

Team officials say they'll find ways to give back to the Salt City throughout the season.

"The guys are great about doing camps and clinics and going to the children's hospitals,” said Syracuse Chiefs General Manager Jason Smorol. “This year, we are going to have a thing called the Chiefs community crew where our fans can go out on earth day and go to the rescue mission and different places."

The Syracuse Chiefs start the 2018 season on the road Friday. Their home opener at NBT Bank Stadium is next Thursday.
