With the launch of the #MeToo Movement, sexual-harassment has been getting a lot of attention lately.

And it can be a big problem in the workplace.

Cornell's School of Industrial and Labor Relations held a workshop Monday to explore issues facing both employers and employees.

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was among the participants. She said she's working on a variety of bills in Washington to help. And students said the workshop gave them a chance to see the real world applications of what they’re learning in school.

"As a student, I learn a lot about theory and there's a really big gap between what you learn in a classroom and how it's actually applied in the real world." said TJ Clement, "and so hearing this real world application and learning what it would take to actually effect change and what is already happening and what they have already planned, it's really nice."

The workshop also included a question-and-answer session with the associate dean and the senior vice president of human resources of Corning Incorporated.
