A man is under arrest after his infant daughter was left behind on a subway platform in Manhattan early-Sunday morning, the city police department said.

Joshua Perez, 26, of the Bronx is facing multiple charges, including Child Abandonment.

Police said his daughter was found 4:27 a.m. on the southbound platform at the 86th Street and Lexington Avenue station on the Upper East Side.

People waiting for a train at the station noticed the girl, who is about six months old, in her stroller on the platform, according to the NYPD.

Authorities said her father was intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, and called 911 when he realized he did not have his baby with him. The officers called arrested him.

Police said the incident is under investigation.
