The principal of a Rochester-area school has been let go.

The district has not yet confirmed if the decision is connected with the recent death of a 14-year-old student who had autistim.

Trevyan Rowe was reported missing last week after getting off a bus at school.

His body was found in a river a few days later.

The Rochester City School District said even though Rowe was not in class for a few days, three teachers marked him present. Those attendance records were later altered and the teachers were put on paid administrative leave.

Six 911 employees were also suspended for the way they mishandled calls from witnesses who saw a teen on a bridge over the river.

The District Attorney's office is currently investigating the case to determine if they will press any charges.
