UTICA, N.Y. -- The 23-year-old Utica College student accused of threatening his campus earlier this month is now facing new charges in a separate incident.

Fahrudin Omerovic is now charged with felony second-degree identity theft and petit larceny.

The Oneida County district attorney said Omerovic allegedly used someone else's credit card information and bought two vacuum cleaners from the campus bookstore's website.

They were delivered to the bookstore around the time he was arrested for the threat charges.

Omerovic is being held at the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
