UTICA, N.Y. -- The Utica College student who allegedly made threats against the school on Monday appeared in court Wednesday morning. He's facing four counts of making a terroristic threat.

Fahrudin Omerovic appeared in city court Wednesday morning, and left in tears.

The 23-year-old pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday night, saying he didn't intend to do any harm.

His arrest came a little more than a day after he allegedly started making threatening phone calls to Utica College.

Police say he made the calls through an app. The threats resulted in a six hour campus lockdown, and the response of more than 100 law enforcement members.

Wednesday morning, the judge kept Omerovic's bail at $100,000 and $250,000 bond. It was a quick appearance, but the student left the room crying.

He is scheduled to be back in court on March 12 for a preliminary hearing.
