CICERO, N.Y. -- It's the day Central New Yorkers have been anxiously awaiting -- the grand opening of Chick-fil-A in Cicero.

Cicero police will be conducting traffic on Brewerton Road Thursday and into the weekend.

They're advising people trying to avoid backups to stay away from the turning lanes near restaurant.

Staff at the restaurant will be trying to avoid lines too. They'll be bringing out menus to the crowd throughout the day so people are ready to order once they step inside.

Lunch and dinner time are expected to bring in the big crowds. So for those coming down – patience is key.
