A Syracuse man who ordered someone else to kill his ex's boyfriend was sentenced on Tuesday.
The Onondaga County DA's office says 33-year-old Jermaine Jennings will serve 25-years to life in prison.
Jennings was convicted of second degree murder in the death of 35-year-old Iric Green.
Green was murdered on McKinley Avenue in October of 2016. Authorities said Jennings told his cousin, Devar Williams, to kill Green.
Williams also faced 2nd-degree murder but was acquitted.
