ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Utica Curling Club is celebrating a big milestone, their 150th anniversary.

The Club was established in 1868, making it one of the oldest in the country.

It has moved around through the years, and is now located in Whitesboro.

Many more events are coming up, and organizers hope to see more people get involved.

"We have a group of younger people that really enjoy this sport and it's great fun to see them because curling is for all ages," said Utica Curling Club member Peggy Rotton.

There will be an Olympic Open House February 24th at the club, where visitors are able to try out the sport.

Curling school sessions are being held March 4th, 11th, and 18th.
