CALIFORNIA — A bunny made popular through a viral video is now going back into the wild.

A few weeks ago a man was videotaped rescuing the critter during California's Thomas Fire.

The bunny spent time recovering at the California Wildfire Center in Malibu. According to the center's director it had burns on all four feet and its ears.

The rabbit was released near the spot where it was rescued. The people at the center said they hope it finds a good place to thrive.
