A utility support company will close its doors in East Syracuse with intentions of relocating to a new office in the area.

Osmose filed a notice this week saying that it will relocate its plant in April.

The current office has 100 employees comprised of software development, project delivery and engineering delivery positions.

With the relocation, the software development team will be going to the new office location.

A majority of the other employees are being offered the option to either relocate or to work remotely from home. Fourteen of the 100 positions will be eliminated altogether.

The company also has offices in Buffalo, New York and Atlanta.
