NEW YOK -- The younger brother of comedian Dick Van Dyke has died.

Actor Jerry Van Dyke's wife said the 86-year-old comedian died of heart failure in Arkansas on Friday.

Van Dyke is best known for his lead role in the hit Series "Coach," which aired in the 80s and 90s. He also appeared on "The Dick Van Dyke Show," with his older brother.

His wife said they were in a major car accident two years ago, and he never fully recovered.
