The Auburn Police Department says a man found dead in the Owasco River "does not appear to be suspicious in nature."

The police say the body surfaced in the area near North Division Street around 11 a.m. Friday morning. The Auburn Fire Department recovered the body. Investigators are awaiting results of an autopsy. The man's identity is being withheld pending family notification.
