Thousands across Upstate New York were left without power after strong thunderstorms made their way through the region, Sunday.

Heavy rain and winds from the North Country to the Southern Tier kept emergency responders busy with calls for downed power lines and trees.

National Grid reportedly had thousands of people without power across Central New York.

In Oswego County, more than 12,000 residents didn't have electricity at one point.

NYSEG customers were also affected by the storms.

The number of outages is going down, as both companies have crews out to get things back up and running.

Most customers are expected to get power back on Monday.
