The state has revoked the license of the driver who hit and killed a young girl in a church parking lot back in January.

Regan Shetsky, 3, was killed and her father was injured after the driver accidently hit the gas instead of the brake in the parking lot of the Eastwood Baptist Church, where Regan attended pre-school.

While the driver was never charged with a crime, the DMV determined she did not exercise due care.

They revoked her driver's license and suspended it until she completes a proper accident report.

Regan's family issued a statement in response. They say she "should not be driving and poses a danger to others. Now, she won’t be able to. Nothing will ever bring Regan back or make it right, but at least there’s some form of justice in her death.”
