SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police have identified the young man who was shot and killed late Monday night on the Southside of the city.

Rasheed Baker was found injured in the 600 block of Barnes Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died a short time later.

It's not clear whether Baker was targeted, or whether police know of any witnesses.
