Syracuse police say their investigation into a man's death back in November has led them to believe it was a homicide.
Edwin Oliveras, 54, died last fall, but police say the injuries that led to his death happened back in February.
They believe he got into a fight over personal property with 29-year-old Ryan Brown.
An autopsy showed it was injuries suffered during that fight that caused Oliveras' death.
Brown is now charged with first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police say the death of Oliveras is being considered the 31st homicide of 2016.
