With the turn of the calendar, presidential candidates are turning their attention to New York state. The April 19 vote has 291 delegates at stake for the Democrats -- it's the second most in the nation. Hillary Clinton is looking to shore up her support in Central New York as she pays a visit to Syracuse. Iris St. Meran reports.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- With less than three weeks until primary day in New York state, Hillary Clinton is turning her attention Upstate New York.

Friday she paid a visit to Syracuse, first sitting down with business leaders from across the region at one of the Syracuse City Schools.

Clinton's campaign agenda includes a $10 billion manufacturing bill, and it was many of those components that came up in the discussion.

"We have 1.2 million jobs in America that are not being filled right now.  We can't fill them because we don't have enough machinists, people who do high quality, skilled work.  So we have to put more resources into training," Clinton said.

Representatives from Corning Incorporated, Extreme Molding in Albany, Darco Manufacturing in Syracuse and others were in attendance for the roundtable discussion.
