SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are searching for the man they say was involved in a recent homicide.

Authorities say 26-year-old Wynban Goddard was shot on the 1600 block of Lodi Street last Sunday evening. 

Officers arrived to find Goddard suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.

He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Investigators are now searching for 24-year-old Jovon McGloun.

McGloun has active warrants for menacing second degree and criminal mischief fourth degree.  

Police are unsure of McGloun’s current location.  

However officers say he could be armed and should not be approached
