SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Police say a child is injured in a chaotic shots fired incident in Syracuse.

Officers were called to the Stop N' Shop on Onondaga Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

When they arrived, they found four cars that had been hit by gunfire.

A vehicle also hit a utility pole while driving away. A 4-year-old in that car hit his head and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

He's expected to survive.
