One man faces a first-degree murder charge and another is wanted on a second-degree murder following a deadly shooting on Erie Boulevard East on Sunday morning.

Rayshonn Hester, 35 of Syracuse, was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body. He died at the scene, police said.

Police are alleging Joshua Wright, 27, and 29-year-old Wendell Griffin were in the process of robbing Hester when the shooting took place.

Wright was charged Wednesday, and is currently in Onondaga County jail. However, Griffin remains at-large, police said.

Syracuse police said the murder weapon hasn’t been recovered, and Griffin may be armed.
