SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse woman has died from her injuries after police say she was shot back on October 29th on the city's south side. 

Police say 20-year-old Jamia Singleton died last week, after being shot in the face on the 100 block of Glenwood Avenue.

Officials say an autopsy will determine her cause of death, and show if it was directly related to the shooting.

Jheezzmearr Thompson, 19 was arrested in connection with the shooting.

He's charged with first-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
