Two men are charged with manslaughter in an August crash on North Salina Street that killed a pedestrian.

The crash happened on August 26, on the 300 block, around 12:50 a.m., which is when police said Earnest Collins was hit while lying in the road. Collins was taken to a Syracuse hospital but soon died from his injuries. He was 30 years old.

Police said Andrew Thomas, 22, was arrested on November 21, after warrants were issued as the result of an investigation. Six days later on November 27, Keenan McGriff, who is 24 years old, was also arrested. Both were taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center.
