Lawmakers and criminal justice reform advocates are calling on governor cuomo to sign two measures that did pass the legislature- and to do more to push for a list of measure that did not get through both houses.

One of the bills that did pass would require the parole board to track the demographic information of prisoners who come before the board in order to make sure everyone is getting equal treatment.

The second bill aims to make it easier for crime victims to navigate the justice system.

And for the sponsor, Senator Luis Sepulveda, the work is far from over.
