The Russian government is insisting it did not interfere in the 2016 election, days after Special Counsel Robert Mueller announced the indictments of 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups. The indictment accuses the defendants of stealing American identities to stir up political discord online and at public events. The charges largely reflect what other intelligence agencies had already reported about online activity and the elections. But Mueller's team is providing new evidence about how far back the activity began, and also making the case that the goal was to help Trump get elected- although they are not saying that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Siena College Professor Len Cutler talks about what we learned from the indictment, and where things go from here.
