The weekend after Thanksgiving is one of the busiest of the year at Ellms Family Farm.

"It's a great experience with friends or family, the traditions that have grown over the years is really what it's all about," said farm owner Garth Ellms.

For the Buell Family, that couldn't be more true. They've been going to Ellms to find the perfect Christmas tree for more than 20 years.

"Our kids loved it so much that when they went out an established their own homes, they said lets get our trees at Thanksgiving and we'll just take them back on our cars," said Rose Buell.

Year after year, Ed and Rose and their kids Erin and Brian embark on the quest, but this year that search is bittersweet.

"My parents are going to be joining us in Connecticut later this year. So we will have to find a new tree farm to continue the tradition at," said Erin Morey.

"It's just been a wonderful part of our whole Christmas experience. Our memory albums are filled with pictures at Ellms," Rose said.

Ed and Rose are moving east to be closer to their grandkids. Marking an end to this Buell family tradition, but the start of a new journey.
