The family of a woman who's well known for her charitable work is asking for help after their house burned down in Seneca County on Wednesday.

Doris Wolf and her husband Walter were both uninjured in the fire, but their home was a complete loss.

Wolf started Trevor's Gift, a backpack program which provides food for needy children in Waterloo.

A GoFundMe page has been created by her family to help the couple regain their footing.

It has already surpassed it's goal of $500, with more than $8,000 donated by over 100 people in just two days.
